Job Description

You will design, develop, test, and debug WAN optimization/acceleration software modules from application to the network layer, to enable remote backup and disaster recovery capabilities in our innovative distributed file system.
You will create functional, architecture, design, and testability specifications
You will communicate with engineers and management, support engineers, field personnel, and customers
Required software design experience

Significant experience with design and implementation of WAN optimization technology
Data de-duplication, compression
Designing scalable, resilient, highly available systems
C, C++, python
Desired Software Design Experience

Solid understanding of TCP/IP internals
Interest & experience with performance engineering (benchmarking, identifying bottlenecks and developing solutions)
File Systems
Distributed Systems

Required Educational Qualifications and Experience

Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, and at least 7 years (or equivalent) of software development experience
