Senior Technical Product Manager

Responsibilities Include

· Identify customer needs, opportunities and define product requirements for targeted market segments

· Investigate and assess internal and external technologies for relevance to current and future market needs and potential new product offerings

· Evaluate the relative importance of key product features and guide the development roadmap for new products

· Identify competitive offerings and assess for competitive market positioning for new products

· Manage product creation and enhancements from concept through planning to tactical execution with clearly set priorities throughout the process

· Help define opportunities for outsourced and partner developments, informing resourcing decisions and help manage outsourcing contracts for scope, fee and delivery

· Help define the go-to-market, pricing and market positioning strategy for the newly developed products

· Serve as main internal point of contact and leader for the product during its refinement and development

· Identify, create, maintain, and leverage key relationships in target industries to enhance product awareness and future adoption

· Act as the primary contact for key industry thought leaders, including industry specialists, press, and other influential parties

Minimum Qualifications

· MBA or B.S. or M.S. in an Engineering field or with related business experience

· 5 years as a Product Manager in the technology industry, preferably with experience in a company developing solutions for the CAD/CAM/CAE industry

· Experience with digital manufacturing workflow and technologies

· You are a self-starter, able to take high level direction and drive teams towards execution with minimal direction

· Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in working with high performing teams and defining new successful products

· Familiarity with Agile and Lean Startup methodologies

· Strong communication skills, especially technical speaking and writing
