Some of the projects you’ll tackle in this role will be

– Build, maintain, and provide technical direction on core issuer payment processing including Discover, MasterCard and Visa network integration and features.
– Build, maintain, and provide technical direction on platform RESTful APIs and related SDKs
– Collaborate and help integrate payment processing and APIs with web and mobile applications
– Develop automated integration tests, integrated with our continuous integration system.
– Caching, queuing, and database design and scalability

Our Ideal Candidate Has

– At least 5 years experience developing enterprise class java applications at scale
– Plenty of experience with transactional RDMS such as MySQL, Postgres, MS SQL Server, or Oracle
– Experience with message queues such as Rabbitmq, 0mq, or redis
– Knowledge of a programming or scripting language like Unix, Shell, Perl, Python, or Ruby
– Experience with git, github, and the pull request workflow
