Scrum Master
What you will do:
• Act as Scrum Master for up to two teams
• Facilitate team meetings and Scrum events
• Build team cohesion
• Foster open and honest team communication
• Enable team productivity as a servant/leader
• Own estimation, forecasting and outward coordination and communication on behalf of your teams
• Coach on story slicing and backlog management
• Catalyze continuous improvement of process and practice
Desired Skills and Experience:
• 5+ years of project, product, or technical leadership in a software development environment
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a dedicated Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills
• Deep tool box of estimation, story slicing, retrospective, and other Agile techniques
• Strong understanding of the Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
Strong organizational skills
The person will:
-Communicate and facilitate effectively across diverse audiences within and outside of the Sprint Team (Stakeholders, Executives). Be able to remove obstacles for the team or direct obstacles to appropriate owners for resolution quickly. Be knowledgeable about software development lifecycle. Provide perspective to the team and keeps team focused on critical deliverables and tasks. Motivate and model open communication to help surface issues for faster resolution. Influence across wide range of stakeholders
What you will need:
– Masters / MBA degree
– At least 5 years of Project Management and/or Scrum experience
– CSM, PMP, Lean or Six Sigma certification
– Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
– Excellent problem solving and influencing skills
