Operations Change Manager *filled

Coordinate and manage all Operations project activities interacting with the business teams, technology teams and outsourcing service provider (Northern Trust). Primary responsibilities will include managing ongoing projects for the outsourced business functions of Operations, Performance Measurement, Client Reporting and other projects to improve the Operations team’s business processes.

Accountabilities:

· Act as global project coordinator for all Operations projects internally at within our company and with Northern Trust; project management responsibilities include:
o

· Track and coordinate all our Operations projects and other Rosenberg projects that would impact the processes of the Operations Team and/or services provided by Northern Trust o

· Design/establish change management procedures with Northern Trust to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
o

· Identify business requirements as communicated by project sponsors and/or business groups, perform cost/benefit analysis if appropriate, create/track detailed project plan, create/monitor budget, etc.
o

· Act as a key technical resource for the Operations Team. The preferred candidate would expect to have an intermediate level of technology expertise, They would be the primary person to liaise between the business and technology teams and would expect to build a solid understanding of the technologies and data supporting the business team Conduct status meetings, distribute status reports to project sponsors/stakeholders, manage expectations, and serve as primary communication source
o

· Establish relationship with business teams, technology teams and Northern Trust

· Manage change management process for all active projects on a proactive basis with Northern Trust 


· Build a deep understanding of detailed data flow and work flows between us and Northern Trust for all relevant business areas 


· Act as the coordination point for any technology related Production issues 


· Manage cross functional and cross regional projects with Trading, Portfolio Management, Model 
Integrity, Investment Technology, Production Support and Development Operations etc. 


· Contribute to the effort in the evaluation of the quality of service relative to the agreed SLA and KPI 
with Northern Trust 


· Helps to monitor changes in industry legislation and best practices as they relate to Investment 
Operations Outsourcing 


Qualifications:

• At least 5-7 years’ experience in a Business Analyst / Project Management role within the financial services industry 


• Knowledge and experience of Investment Operations functions, including performance measurement, client reporting and outsourcing vendor management. 


• Solid knowledge of business analysis and project management techniques including a thorough understanding of how to interpretbusiness needs and translate them into technology and businessrequirements 


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, decision-making and documentation skills 


• Advanced Excel skills (including the creation of Macros, VBA etc) 
Knowledge of relational databases and MS SQL Server 


• Experience in managing cross functional and cross regional projects 


• Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently in a dynamic environment and can organize and 
prioritize workload to achieve desired results in a timely manner 


• Demonstrated a proven track record in managing major businessprojects 


• Interfacing/influencing/communicating (verbal and written) with a diverse group, executives, 
managers, subject matter experts,business and technology teams and external partner 


• Strong knowledge of MS Project, MS Word, and PowerPoint tools is a benefit 


• Global coordination across multiple countries and time zones 


• Working with diverse teams globally across the expertise and within the wider organization 


• Manage internal expectations to continue to transition to outsourced mind set (e.g., all projects with 
Northern Trust have to be funded and have little flexibility to change requirements)
