Marketing Campaign Manager

Seeking a Senior Campaign Marketing Manager to support the company’s worldwide campaign operations. This key member of the marketing team will work closely with sales and marketing to create campaign plans, build a communication strategy, contribute to external content and manage email automation execution. You would have a team of 2.

Roles and Responsibilities

Campaign Development:

• Deliver a global campaign calendar that aligns with corporate umbrella campaigns and messaging.
• Have the ability to learn and articulate product value proposition working closely with product marketing to understand target audience and buyer personas.
• Own and manage the content warehouse – what content is fresh, where it sits on the buyer’s journey, what audience consumes content. Be able to work with other team members to suggest content for their various marketing tactical efforts.
• Write email content, landing pages, webpages etc. that supports corporate messaging and branding guidelines

Email Communications & Nurture Strategy:

• Align with channel marketing, direct demand, product marketing, strategic alliances, customer marketing, marketing communications, sales and others to develop a clear email communication strategy and global communications calendar.
• Prioritize all execution requests and develop ways to increase team productivity and execution rates and review execution processes and streamline to increase efficiencies for the campaign team.
• Create, build and QA targeted drip campaign strategies and nurture architectures with content that aligns to the buyer’s journey and lead lifecycle.
• Work cross-functionally at the company to train and enable global teams to create and build email communications.
• Stay up-to-date with email best practices to up-level templates, execution practices and email open and conversion rates.
• QA personal and others’ Marketo work and be the “last reviewer” prior to batching in Marketo, when team members are out be able to execute campaigns in their absence, including troubleshooting when system issues arise.
• Manage internal and external execution team and manage POs, vendors and budget when needed.
• Work closely with Marketing Operations to monitor success of campaigns.

Required Experience and Education

• 7+ years in campaign management and communications.
• 4 years’ experience in marketing automation, with at least 2 years of Marketo execution experience.
• Good creative writing skills.
• Certified on Marketo platforms and applications, with extensive knowledge of Marketo and experience creating and maintaining program templates.
• Experience in CRM tools and reporting such as Salesforce.com.
• Proficient in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, experience is a plus.
• High attention to detail and the ability to effectively quality control test campaigns prior to launch. Strong sense of urgency and experience in deadline driven roles.
• Exceptional team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem solving skills with a flair for coming up with creative solutions to complex problems (“No detail is too small” attitude).
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and across organizations to achieve goals through influence.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
