Primary Job Responsibilities As a Cloud Network Engineer, you will be part of the Cloud Network Engineering team responsible for building highly scalable and reliable SDN solution for our Cloud Services, which is one of the biggest OpenStack based private cloud in the world.
Job Requirements
Principal Responsibilities
Proactively analyze the network environments you are responsible for to look for and resolve potential problems before they occur
Respond to incident to troubleshoot and resolve problems within the SDN environment
Design and implementation of SDN solution for cloud infrastructure, and participate in implementing changes to the environment
Develop automation, processes, and tools to make deploying and supporting the infrastructure simpler, more reliable, and faster
Basic Requirements
BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
2 or more years of network engineering experience
Knowledge of network security concepts, firewalls, and load balancers
Working knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/IP, and routing protocols
Experience with protocol analysis, network analyzers, packet capture devices, or Wireshark
Familiar with UNIX and Windows servers, VMware, and their networking capabilities and requirements
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members, communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Requirements
Scripting and/or development expertise
Experience with cloud-scale networks
Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, LDAP, other core network-based services
OpenStack/Neutron experience
