Associate Director L&D *filled

Specific Responsibilities

This candidate will demonstrate the ability to develop and implement solutions that are scalable and transferrable across domestic and international sites. The Director also facilitates key leadership and management learning solutions, collaborates with HR Business Partners to meet the organizational development needs of senior leaders, as well as functional groups.
Essential Duties and Job Functions

· Design, deliver, and evaluate corporate-wide management, and employee development programs working closely with management, departments, and other training team members.
· Create organizational development tools/programs that enhance effectiveness and efficiencies.
· Supports HR Business Partners in executing organizational interventions for various business departments/functions.
· Works with HR Business Partners to assess and strengthen talent pipelines and resolve talent management challenges.
· Works with the HRBPs to identify performance gaps across existing sites and new sites
· Conduct organizational needs analysis and identify performance gaps across the corporation and within functions as required and recommend appropriate interventions…
· Conduct follow-up to determine applicability and tangible success of learning solutions
· May select, manage, develop and evaluate vendors or consultants to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
A strong consultant with demonstrated ability to understand business requirements and turn that analysis into actionable solutions. Fundamental understanding of business strategy and how to link HR initiatives to business initiatives. A proven track record of creating and implementing talent development solutions that make a difference. Personal attributes include; excellent communication skills, highly competent presenter, able to gain credibility, engender trust and influence all levels, strong partnering skills, bias for action and tangible results.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills

At least 12+ years of experience in HR consulting and/or a Fortune 500 company a must.
Minimum of 5 years Learning and Development experience
Previous experience as a business partner or in a HR Center of Excellence a plus.
Master’s in education, organizational development/psychology or a related discipline is preferred.
Significant breadth of knowledge on commonly used training concepts, practices, and procedures.
The ability to follow assignments through to completion with a bias towards execution.
